excellent stay! biggest bed we've seen in a while, very confortable and pleasant. extremely clean room and bathroom, very tidy and organized. the hotel is a bit isolated but not bad at all, not many choices even though in a calm zone and with a couple of restaurants solutions and places to drive to in 5/10 min drive. we spent the weekend as a place to sleep after being out for the day. and everyday woke up rested. the only down side for us was the lack of a small fridge. (there was no fridge at all) a place to put our small snacks/drinks on cold wouldve been a nice plus. mega recommend this place. Ah, staff was super kind and spoke english. since we dont speak german.

We arrived for one night. The room was Ok but TV did not work . First it appeared that there was no batteries in the TV controller . After asking in reception we got batteries but the TV did not work at all. We reported that when we left in the morning but the reception guy he didn’t give it any attention.

I had a nice one-night stay. The food in both restaurant and at the hotel (breakfast) was very good, and the service very nice and smiling. I can recommend the hotel, not only for a business travel, but also for a holiday night or two.

We liked Taste Bären Auggen very much. The room was up to standard, clean and quite. Car could be parked in front of the room, very safe. Dinner was good, portions are big, staff was very friendly. The only thing we missed was airco in the room.

We choose this hotel because it was close to the highway. It has and old, torn feeling about it. Apperently they have latest check-in at 22:30. The information about this was not clear and we almost ended up without a room for the night as we came after midnight

Stayed here as a stopover on a road trip through France, Germany and Austria based upon other reviews and so pleased we did. The room was faultless: large, clean, modern and comfortable with great heating (as we stayed at the end of winter). The reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

Is a good on the road hotel, with a newer part and an older part.Offers on internet seem always to end in the old part. The new part, with upgrade (10 €) is in perfect condition and end up in a nice room well equipped. The older art might be a little more silent however.

Outstanding clean, very quiet area, no problem to park, definitive for car travelers. Perfect price-value price!. All rooms in 2017 new building has a balcony, but not all in the old building. Breakfast a little bit pricy.

Our room for 3 was a little small for our needs and the restaurant was booked solid for the night we were there. A little cheesey that hotel guests get shut out of the restaurant for outside bookings.

The hotel is beautifully located in the countryside, in a lovely little village. We (2 adults,1 child) spent the night in the new wing (built/renovated in May 2017), and the rooms, corridors, breakfast area and so on are absolutely spotless. Everything is clean and tidy. There is plenty of parking space near the hotel too. The staff were great: without exception all smiles and very helpful. Highy recommended, we would definately stay here again.

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean, beautiful area with easy access to the autobahn. The outdoor beer garden was a pleasant surprise, very pleased with our stay, definitely recommend to others! If there was anything lacking it would be air conditioning, however it cooled off at night and we left our window open, quiet area so noise was not an issue. We would stay here again and you can't beat the value for the price we paid.

Easy to find and free parking. Beautiful cherry orchard views from our balcony, comfortable room with English channels. However, no coffee/tea making facilities and air con could not be used. Staff super friendly and helpful make up for lack of facilities, cheerfully bringing a pot of hot water when asked. Excellent base for discovering the region, especially Badenweiler, 5 km away.
