We stayed here for 3 nights and we actually saw some of the best Norther Lights for 2 nights! The cabin definitely has a fantastic view towards the sky and the towards north in general.
The amount of activities available and timeslots available were more than sufficient for us to cover almost everything. All activities were managed and done very well and we enjoyed all thoroughly.
I have to give a special shoutout to the team which did the "Search for Santa" activity. This is easily one of the best and most magical activity we have done, especially when looking at it from the little eyes of our 7 & 9 year old kids. This will be part of their memory (and ours) for a life time!
Food options could have been better. We do not eat red meat and there was only Fish as the other option so we literally ate Salmon or some other similar fish for ALL meals. Breakfast too is repeated every day without any changes. At one point we went out to the nearby Kmart to buy instant noodles as the food options were really very few for those who do not eat red meat. If you are a Vegetarian or Vegan or need Halal food, you can't survive here.
Getting your luggage to your cabin is gonna break your back as you have to load your luggage on the wooden sleigh and push through knee deep snow for quite a long distance. This sounds fun in the beginning until you start doing it. It becomes a horrible experience quite rapidly.
But otherwise, the service from the staff has been top notch!
