Sent an email request for parking space reservation 3 weeks before my arrival, didn't get any response from hotel after a whole week. Try to seek help from Agoda but this booking platform replied they are not in the position to do the communication on behalf of customers.
Upon my arrival the lady staff at the hotel said parking space was full and blamed me not making reservation in advance. I told her I've sent an email for weeks but got totally ignored, she instantly replied most of the email from Agoda were filtered out, I emphasized the email was sent by myself not Agoda, she was surprised and kept apologize, later on the lady showed me a car park nearby, I clearly stated that I need a car park charged on daily basis, but I ended up spent ¥6900 for parking alone, charged on hourly basis, way much more expensive than normal rate at ¥1500 with car parked inside the hotel.
I use Agoda's filter to choose a hotel with parking space and within walking distance from JR. It sucks.
