Great clean place for airport stay short trip. Please don't forget to confirm via telefona early morning transfer to airport. Staff was gracious and kind, but as I did not call ahead to confirm my digital transfer request...that did not happen. So close to airport, it was not an issue, but IF that service matters to you, CALL to confirm!

There’s nothing in the room except for a bed and bathroom so just staying for a night before an early morning flight would be the only reason to stay here. Only excellent thing in the hotel is the shuttle deiver who drove us to the airport

Great food at the hotel’s restaurant.
Only issue was our room was on the highest floor & there’s no lift. We had to carry our heavy luggage’s up some flight of stairs .
No shops whatsoever around the hotel.
Do contact the hotel for airport pickup, it’s chargeable but better than being reaped off by the taxis.

Despite the name, Zagreb Cool Hotel feels more like a motel than a hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated. We stayed in the family room located at the far end/back of the property. Unfortunately, the back door leading directly to the road was wide open with very limited lighting at night, which made the area feel a bit unsafe since anyone could easily walk in.
The carpet in the room appeared quite dirty, which triggered my allergies, and my roommates were bitten by mosquitoes during the stay. There was no air conditioning as it was winter, but since the unit is a split-type system, it would have been helpful to give guests the option to turn it on as the room felt quite stuffy. We were hesitant to open the windows since the room faced the road and there were mosquitoes around.
The room lighting could also be improved as it felt quite dim. The main positive point is that the property is close to the airport and offers a shuttle service for €9 per car, which is convenient for early flights.
