I recently stayed at a hostel that I found to be excellent value for the price and perfectly located. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. I only stayed for one night, but I was impressed with the amenities and the friendly staff. Overall, I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and well-located accommodation option.

I only stayed here for one night, which I was pretty pleased with...
The staff were lovely and helpful, especially with storing our luggage for a few days in advance so we wouldn't have to carry it during our short Montevideo trip!
The reception area is really cool and stylish, would've been nice to have more time to hang out there! The place is on a busy corner downtown, so you can hear everything from the rooms but not from the reception area. Great if you want nice urban views, not great if you want a restful sleep.
The rooms however need a bit of an upgrade...they feel old and not that clean. The sheets and towels seemed pretty old and my bathroom shower wasn't that welcoming. There was also no safe in the rooms, which I think is essential to have.
Overall it was an ok stay for just one night. It's nice and close to the centre but wouldn't recommend it if you're after peace and quiet :)
