Saravoen is nestled in a quiet, creative part of town. Peaceful and clean with friendly staff. I absolutely recommend.

I only stayed one night, but it was clean and spacious. The decor in the room and outside on the patio area was super cute. Very quiet at night which was great. We didn't venture out much because it was already late when we checked in, but the front desk helped move our luggages upstairs since there are no elevators.

We stayed for two nights and I’d say that was plenty. We arrived in the room and there were ants everywhere in the bed. Hotel staff came to look and said there were no rooms to change to and swept the ants off the bed. The second night we came back and there was a cockroach on the bed which we removed. The AC doesn’t really work. You can feel it directly under the fan but other than that you may as well be sat outside in the heat. We were given a fan which helped a little bit but ended up just circulating hot air. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was good. We were on the 3rd floor and had to carry our bags up the 4 flights of stairs which wasn’t a problem for us but I can see it being hard work for people with joint issues or mobility issues. The lobby area and outside area is nice and you can’t hear the traffic when in the room, location is a short walk away from the night market and river front.
