Really good hostel, stayed with my family although a little pricey….perhaps because of the euros football match. A little out of town but great views and accessed via tram or bus. These were free which was great but again I guess because of the football. Accommodation was refurbished and modern and breakfast really good.

We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library.
