Helvecia Apart Hotel

It's a two bedroom apartment with a balcony, lounge dining area and kitchen, fully furnished. I love being able to go to the grocery store and cook a proper meal and eat what I want to eat instead of eating hotel food or having to go out to a restaurant.

I came to Santiago on a school trip and this was one of the recommended hotels. Though the beds weren't your typical king-size, plush beds, they were still very comfortable. Plus, your "room" is a small apartment - you get your own mini kitchen, living room and balcony! I got to settle in and feel like I was home for the week I spent in Chile, and I loved it. Highly recommend, and I'll be back!

I stayed at the Helvecia apart hotel for 6 nights while at a conference in Santiago. The hotel is located in a very nice area, only a couple blocks from two other major hotels (intercontinental and double tree) and is very close to a major shopping centre (constanera centre), which has pretty much everything you could possibly imagine. From the hotel, it is very easy to travel around using the metro Line 1, which is located within a 5 minute walk. Many restaurant options in the area, well within walking distance. The staff were friendly and security was present 24 hours per day. The room itself was huge, much bigger than I needed and included a living room, dining room, and kitchen, just as advertised online. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a discount option when staying in Santiago, as the major hotels can be quite pricey.

The neighborhood is amazing and safe. A lot of life, nice restaurants, malls, stores and bars in walking distance. the Helvecia staff was really nice and helpfull. WiFi works fine. Room temperature was great (winter season). Bed is comfortable.
