    I want to address some key points about my recent visit to your property. While it’s a great place for families and children, several areas need immediate attention. First, thank you for the complimentary upgrade; I genuinely appreciate it. However, the maintenance of the property must meet higher standards to ensure a better experience for all guests. I strongly believe that offering a buffet breakfast would significantly enhance convenience for visitors. Even if the number of guests is low, the continental set menu should have more variety. The limited options we encountered were disappointing, and some items were simply unavailable. Moreover, as Sri Lankans, we felt it was inappropriate for the staff to treat us differently. All guests should receive equal attention, regardless of their background. It was disheartening that no one acknowledged us with a simple "Good Morning" upon entering the restaurant, and the lack of smiles from the staff left us feeling unwelcome. It was clear that their focus was exclusively on a foreign couple in the corner, while our needs were overlooked. It's crucial that your team engages with all guests and seeks feedback during meals, rather than appearing indifferent. If this pattern continues, I foresee more reviews highlighting these issues. I hope you can address these concerns seriously—there's potential here, but it requires improvement. Thank you.

    The hotel is in a great location with a beautiful beach just steps away. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Facilities are good overall, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The only area that could use some improvement is the cleanliness of the pool, but it didn’t significantly affect our experience. Overall, it's a recommended place to stay and offers very good value for money. We would definitely consider coming back!

    The resort must have been a five-star gem a few years ago. The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated in a Balinese style, and well equipped. The pool and beach areas are well laid out, with plenty of space to relax. The location is great and the resort is set on the best part of Passikudah beach, where the soft slope into the sea makes sunbathing and swimming pleasant. That said, while the rooms are still well maintained, it’s clear that upkeep in the common areas has slipped and it shows from the minute you enter the hotel where the reception area is in dire need of revamping. But also sunbeds are broken or heavily worn, parasols on the beach are missing, and the beach bar (Sands) is closed and boarded up. In the pool, tiles were missing and some stones were loose, which gives a bit of a neglected feel. The staff in the pool and beach area are friendly and eager to help, but they don’t seem to have the tools or support needed to deliver a true five-star experience. The biggest letdown, however, was the food and beverage offering. Restaurant choices were limited, listed international liquors weren’t available for some months already, and the staff - although polite - seemed inexperienced and lacked the training to create a memorable dining experience. Dining out seemed the obvious option. With some renewed focus and investment, this resort could easily return to its former glory. The foundation is there but it just needs care and leadership.
