We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet.
This mansion went under fire and then was rebuilt by the current owner from the ground up paying attention to detail and preserving its history.
The grounds are gorgeous. Great location surrounded by trees and park.
It was the most relaxing vacation we had had in a long time.
We will definitely be back.

There is so much history and this is a beautiful property! The rooms are so comfortable and the hosts are so friendly! We come here every year and this is our second year. We will definitely be back!

We were in town for the Ford Nationals. So much history in this home! Luxurious accommodations! The hosts were incredible and very flexible with our time frame. We had to be out early each morning and she made our breakfast to go. My husband and I will definitely be back next year! Thank you Rkia for your investment in this home. The passion you and your husband have for it shows.
