B&B Il Grappolo is a wonderful place to stay! It is like your own private villa with a beautiful view of the city from above. Maria and her daughter Angela are warm and friendly (but note Maria doesn't speak English at all). The breakfasts are excellent. Their dog barks a lot and may cause some concern when you first approach, but the owners calm it down. Important note: the B&B isn't in town where a taxi or bus can drop you off. Maria sent us a message saying the bus or taxi should drop us off at the bus stop in Piazza Caprile near the restaurant Il Boccone, and then it's a 15 minute walk to the B&B. But there's a LOT of stairs going up to the B&B along that (narrow) path, so if you have heavy luggage, it's actually better to be dropped off at the Piazza della Pace; although the walk is longer (about 25 minutes), it doesn't have stairs so you can roll your luggage.

Maria’s B&B is wonderful! Her place is quaint and in such a beautiful area! The view from her place is stunning! At first we were a bit overwhelmed with the walk from the drop off point while dragging our luggage. It only took once and we soon loved it! So beautiful with flowers, fruit trees, local gardens etc!! I will remember the aromatic clean air forever!
Maria served us a wonderful breakfast and although she didn’t speak English she always had a big smile! She is very sweet and provides lovely, clean and comfortable accommodations! All so authentically Italian, just as we imagined!! We loved our stay!

Great location, beautiful views, amazing breakfast! Maria, the host makes sure everything is wonderful, the room, the food, and has lots of suggestions for exploring Capri.
