Floor in the shower was yellow…there were 2 towels in the room, both were wet….brrrr…in the morning I woke up cause I heard mobile vibrating in the room next to me…not even a bottle of water in the room…for 215 euros a night…

The room is quite big and really close to Lille Flandre. The staffs are welcoming. Breakfast was also nice. But for some of the rooms, there is no elevator to access. I needed to carry my luggage and climbed 4 floors to my room.

Very convenient for stations and an easy walk into Old Lille. Found the bed a little uncomfortable and facilities were OK but basic. The breakfast was just about acceptable but better was available in Lille for half the price.

We loved this hotel. It is really convenient for both stations in Lille and for visiting the city itself. Staff were really friendly and responsive. They have a book in which they note requests and things get actioned. The bed was really comfortable and we had an excellent shower. Breakfast is also excellent. Good double glazing made the room very quiet. We had a really good time.

I hesitated between a 3 and a 4 and settled on 4 because after 4 nights, I got used to the place. It is a good modest hotel non rated by the city of Lille itself. This says it all. It is clean, well located across the street from the Lille Flandres train station, within walking distance to the city center and major shopping center as well as in close proximity to several restaurants. However, it is an old hotel which does not have electronic keys (that’s right, you’ll get a key that you will have to leave at the front desk and ask for when you return). There is no AC which I had missed when I booked and as it was low to mid 20C a bit hot in the room. The room is smallish and in no way ressembles the picture - it is much more outdated and there is relatively low light in the room. My bed was comfortable and the bedding clean. Due to Covid, you must indicate daily if you wish for someone to enter and clean your room. There is no safe in the room. The staff which is always on duty is very friendly and willing to help. The hotel offers breakfast which I tried on the first day but decided after to go to the train station which is what I would recommend. I did wonder at the time of reserving why it was so affordable and well now I know. Unless you are on a very tight budget, I would suggest you stay elsewhere. There is also a sort of ferry agency across the street which gathers people from early morning and then screaming for most of the morning that I found scary.

I like the area of the property, very easy to walk to the train station and to the centre of town. I loved my room, it was very spacious and had a comfortable bed. I didnt like how the building was structured so it took long for us to get the reception

How this place is classed a hotel is beyond me...more like a hostel. Standard room is more like a box room. My garden shed is bigger! One side of the bed was squashed against the wall making it very claustrophobic for the person that was facing the wall. No cupboards, just 3 hangers. No safe, no tea facilities. no toiletries. No hand towels on 1st day, and no bath towels on 2nd day. Bathroom extractor fan not working , mouldy bathroom. Bins not emptied, dirty walls. Stain on duvet. Breakfast was minimilistic...no hot bf. Staff don't know how to smile and communicate with guests. Check in took 15 mins as there were 7 people in front. Waited 5 minutes to check out as receptionist was having a cigarette outside. In summary worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many. Not worth the money I paid and was left very disorientated and angry. Would not recommend this to anyone!!!..you definitely do not get the room that is advertised!!
