Do not recommend this hotel. Would perhaps rate it as 2 STAR and LOCAL hotel instead. Not for tourist. Checked in for 2 nights on 21st April about 9pm. When we reached the hotel, we found out that the air conditioning was managed centrally (was completely off throughout the stay). Called to enquire if there was a fan as the air was completely still and warm in the room. Staff replied in English (same staff as check in) and we were asked to open the window and curtain instead but we mentioned that we needed privacy and hence we would like curtains to be closed. FYI: the toilet area was open with mirrors around but had completely no area to hang clothes. If we were to retrieve clothes/towels, it would be from the wardrobe on the walkway which is not ideal if curtains are open. Staff said he could do nothing so we asked if we could speak to the manager to see if there’s any other alternatives. He said he’s the manager and he said he will bring up the fan. About 10 mins later, doorbell rang and we found no one at the door except a small fan at the side of our door. We tried the fan several times and realised it was faulty. Called again and the same staff answered. But this time, he spoke in Korean all the way. I tried explaining that I was the one who called about the fan earlier (in case he had other queries along the way). He said in a very rude tone in Korean “Speak Korean.” I was shocked at the tone and asked in English, “Can you speak English? or Chinese?”. He replied in Korean again “ Hello? No English No Chinese. Speak Korean. I’m Korean. You are in Korea.” I’m flabbergasted at how a tourist 4 star hotel could be so racist. And he’s the hotel manager! I paused for a bit and I said in English “I’ll come down now” as I know it’s not going to be resolved via the phone. He then finally replied in English “the fan is outside your room.” And I said that it’s not working, I’ll come down with it. When I went down, he gave me a super black face when I haven’t even said anything. He asked my partner to pass him the fan and he want to prove us wrong. When he switched it on, it worked for 5 seconds and he was giving us the “it’s working, what do you want” look while pointing at the fan and looking at us. We said “Give it a while” and rightaway, the fan started going crazy and then he immediately said “Go up. Go back to your room. I bring one more, Go up.” Give it second thoughts before booking this hotel. Definitely not a tourist hotel with bad attitude staff. Will definitely not stay here again.

Came back to this hotel on the last day because it's near to airport for early morning flight. Thank you for the hotel front desk to help call the taxi to the airport.
