A quiet hotel on a quiet street and very close to everything. Friendly staff. Loved it. Improvements: lights on the steep dark stairs, tea and coffee on tap to take up to your room would make it very popular.

We stay at Hotel Des Bains every visit we make to Paris while en route by train to our other destinations. We enjoy the neighborhood and easy proximity to Gare de Montparnasse.

The room was ok. I had to make four visits to reception to get into my room. A very difficult staircase on the first floor.
