Location location location, provedencia is a place to be! If I was going to live in Santiago I would live here.
The hostel itself is nice and friendly, I found it to be very safe.
The breakfast available is good, self serve, although I never had the dinner it is available for free as well. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking, in fact every thing is within walking distance. TIP- use Uber instead of taxi!

Pros:
- The lovely breakfast with eggs, fruits, bread, juices
- Dinner is included
- The cleaning staff are great, efficient and always smiling.
- Jean, one of the staff, was brilliant: really helpful, welcoming and very proactive to sort out issues that we raised
Cons:
- the mattresses are quiet bad, really need to be changed!
