It was a beautiful area to stay at, and the room is very spacious super close to the beach me and my family really liked it

The property was so cute and comfortable. Everything was very clean and the location is next door to the village. I will definitely stay there again.

Location, location, location! Great spot to enjoy the beach, the wharf, view of the bridge, proximity to eateries, the shops. The Venetian still holds the charm of yesteryear’s 1920’s get away spots. If you love vintage, this is the place for you! And as such, the bathroom was very, very small-but still had amenities needed. Kitchen had stove, apt fridge, microwave, cups, drinking glasses, coffee maker, paper towel -except BEWARE: No dishes, cutlery, knives, cooking pots/pans. Still, the description of the property mentions this, so should be no surprise. Didn’t see a nearby grocery store, so make sure you have all goodies, food, drinks, etc packed up for your stay. Loved the walk-in closet! Our lower end unit had partial view. Would have liked fireplace “fire” to be more visible, refresh furniture and maybe replace the dark carpeting. Or replace with waterproof floor covering to lighten up unit? This costs money, obviously. You’ll LOVE that the beach is literally steps away! Likewise, eatery places! First time using contactless unit and parking check-in. BEWARE: Extra daily charge for on-site parking-again, mentioned in description of property, so should be no surprise. Shout out to the ladies (Kerry?, Deisy, Evelyn) that answered my calls, texts and responded to concerns! Shout out to Housekeeping too-they responded quickly! If you are looking for a vintage vibe beach get-away, look no further than The Venetian Hotel in Capitola! Hope to come back again!

The Venetia could not have a better location. Right on the beach, a 2 minute walk to restaurants, shops and coffee. Iconic design and so much history. The units are old obviously but well maintained. We had a main bedroom, tiny private bedroom with a twin and a double in the living area. small kitchen if you prefer to have a cooking option. We chose an ocean view, and could see and hear the ocean over the front building (privately owned units). Night volleyball and beach strolls, a foot wash before entering. The bathroom was tiny and four of us had to take turns but again it is an old historic property. You are definitely paying for location and view over interior. I would stay again.
