My first night was in a room on the first floor facing the street. This room had a smell. I'm not sure whether it was the furniture paint or humidity. I was changed to the second floor the following night and this was a much pleasant room. The staff in the hotel were all very nice.

this is a clean, quiet hotel. it is not a B&B.The coffee in the morning although in a coffee maker was instant. it is more like an american motel.It had one location that was away form the main building. the beds were the second to best we had in our 15 day trip to Mexico. the pool was in a pretty inclosed area. the only draw back is that it was not within the Centro. that would have made it much nicer. There was not always a person at the desk who spoke any English. They ran off to find someone when we first arrived.

Good location, 5 mins walk from the walled city and local bus station. Friendly helpful staff, breakfast very good value. Easy access to the swimming pool. Would recommend
