    Location appears to be so ideal being across the highway from Kauffman Stadium, but once u arrive 4 blocks from the area, it begins to reveal the area extremely different than across the highway. We pulled in 11pm (after KC baseball game & there were at least 3 cars with passengers in what appeared to be socializing “hanging out” within. The vehicles themselves were a bit concerning themselves. There were 6- 8 people on 3 sides of building that appeared in a state of confusion (under influence possibly). We continued to check in after we had to call in 800# requesting for assistance & they sent someone from some floor upstairs to the smallest lobby area that lacked professional customer service skills. Our final straw that evening was walking into the room, immediately the strong mold/substance type smoke odors in addition to the instant gut feeling was completely overwhelming so we called in to report our concern for remaining on the property & turned in the keys immediately! We have traveled through 10 states & first time we experienced to elevated concerns. Would not recommend to individuals & especially families! Extended Stay had been the least of our choices but we tried at least 4 locations with every one of them being disappointed, this location being the worst experience!
