    Overall brilliant stay! Our bed linen was changed every day, and we are very grateful for the excellent cleanliness in the room. However, we had an issue at the reception: we asked the guy there to turn on the sauna, and he told us it would be ready in 40 minutes. We came back after an hour, but nothing had been turned on. He claimed it “takes that long to heat up,” although it was clear he had simply forgotten. On previous days, the sauna heated up within 20–30 minutes. The breakfast was wonderful — great quality and a very good selection — but the staff at the restaurant always seemed unhappy, angry, and aggressive. It made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel is great: the sauna is excellent, there is a gym, the breakfast is lovely, and the cleanliness is perfect. But the restaurant staff left a very negative impression, as did the situation with the receptionist who misled us. The view from the window was fantastic, by the way! All in all, we do recommend the hotel and would return, but the management should definitely speak with the staff.

    I switched rooms several times during my stay. All are acceptable, but a few outshine others in terms of quietness and comfort. Some rooms are starting to need a renovation. Hopefully that will happen soon. The manager and his crew are all very helpful and they will jump through hoops to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

    We stayed for 5 days at Mercury – an exceptionally charming place, located in the city center, close to all major attractions. The service was outstanding, from the reception staff to the housekeeping team. Very clean, with a friendly atmosphere. SKY 7 BAR is amazing and friendly staff. Food amazing. highly recommend this hotel. I also want to express my deep gratitude for the days spent here.
