    Location of hotel is good, room is small but it’s okay, view from the room is nice. There are no proper amenities in the room, we have to request for dental kits, laundry bag, even to get that i have to call reception two times. When call to reception or room dining they feel more irritated than welcoming. Porters are very helpful and friendly. Rooftop waiters are very nice. Breakfast options are okay, but nobody really cares about resetting up the tables. We asked cutleries two times, nobody cared. Rooms are not maintained well, shower facilities are very old, rusty and some pieces are falling apart. Need to wait for hot water for very long. Would not come back definitely and would not recommend.

    quite enjoyed the Radisson Hotel Kandy. It was actually a lot nicer once I actually arrived in the lobby. I suggested that they post more photos of the lobby as that’s a great selling point. The rooms were well appointed clean great view from the 4th floor. Very helpful staff. I tried lunch at the rooftop yesterday, great views nice swimming pool and lounge area. The small plates I tried were a bit disappointing. I ordered the patatas bravas, gambas al Ajillo and some fried calamari. Patatas bravas were essentially battered wedge fries served with ketchup, I missed that deep tomato stewed sauce and garlic aioli that generally accompany this dish. and the Gambas al aljillo were these small shrimp like you would put in fried rice, it lacked the delicious EVOO and garlic slices that brightens this dish and the fried calamari just lacked flavor and a proper aioli. However, this morning I did try their breakfast, what an incredible variety of delicious fresh dishes of every variety. Quite enjoyed the jam bun, the omelette, fresh fruit, fresh mandarin juice and there are a variety of stations from fresh dosas to hoppers a traditional dish and made to order omelette, pancakes and crepes. Beside the lunch hiccup, I still give this hotel a 5 star. Great location a little up the hill from the Kandy lake but not so ridiculous you couldn’t walk it. Also if you choose not too walk, there were always Tuk Tuks just outside the hotel who were glad to take you anywhere you wanted to go. Do keep this Radisson hotel on your radar if you are visiting Kandy as it really met all standard and then some for the things that can take away the stress one can sometimes feel when traveling and away from home. If my journeys brings me back to Kandy ever again I will certainly choose this hotel.

    My stay here wasn't great. Housekeeping, food and staff are all below standards for any 4 star property. Would not recommend for families.
