    Just a rare Jewel in the middle of all the places to stay. Love love love it.

    I really wanted to like this place, however I’d never recommend this hostel in its current condition. Dirty dishes left in the sink for days ( the staff side), garbage overflowing in every trash can, counters dirty, bathrooms disgusting, wet towels and clothes left everywhere. I realize that a huge event with Taylor Swift caused a lot of extra work, but it was clear to me this was the running theme of this hostel. I don’t blame the young lady running the place, but rather the management/owner. Most hostels do not allow in state guests to use the hostel. Not this one. I met a homeless woman , who was nice enough, it just made things awkward when you are vacationing and hear such sad stories from the locals. And the drama. Not my thing. And, every hostel I’ve stayed at, workers/volunteers stay in a separate dorm, not with guests. And, the feral cats. The yard needs to be treated with flea control. I love animals and enjoyed the cats, but flea bites are miserable. Do a better job at ensuring guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

    since my last visit. I think it has regressed. It is difficult to talk to someone who works here. When I arrived, 3 men were sleeping at 2pm. Thankfully, this didn't affect my sleep that night or any other, but it was a red flag. Amanda is a great host. I was grateful to meet her. She made me comfortable.
