I am writing to share how truly wonderful our stay was at Cusheon Lake Resort and to express my heartfelt appreciation for their hospitality. From the beautiful Cedar cabin to the peaceful lake view, the barrel sauna, and the hot tub, every detail made our experience unforgettable. The atmosphere was so calming and thoughtfully prepared, and your staff were incredibly supportive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. We truly felt cared for. This trip was a special pre Christmas gift for my significant other. He absolutely loved spending time by the fireplace and playing with the branches outdoors. Being surrounded by nature, warmth, and quiet moments together made it a very meaningful and memorable experience for both of us.

Nice, rustic cabins located in a beautiful, quiet location. The provided canoes and kayaks were a nice touch and we made good use of them. The hot tubs and new barrel sauna were great for those chilly evenings. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they provided games and additional coffee and toilet paper at the front office. The beds were comfortable. It was too bad there was a fire ban when we visited so we weren't able to make use of the wood-burning fireplaces. While the kitchen was pretty well-stocked, I wish they included some napkins or paper towels. Also, having the TV in the bedroom could be inconvenient if you are trying to watch TV or a movie with a group. Overall, a nice location for quiet getaway!

Amazing...a 3 star that is 5 star for nature lovers! Log cabins with kitchen and comfortable beds, real fire places with ample free dry wood topped up daily, view of the lake. 2 hot tubs and sauna, free access to plenty of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards any time you want, small but good size quiet lake with fish to catch, multiple docks with chairs and other access to swim. Eagles, deer etc all around. Suoer attentive and friendly staff on site. Office has tons of games and puzzles to use. Easy drive to town or around this great island - paved main roads right to resort. My wife and i were blown away by this place!! Only recommend for property is to ditch the old brick "bbq" area (at minimum replace rusty grills) and provide actual bbqs :)

I had the best time that I didn't even dream of at this property. The cabin we got for 2 people was very spacious. The king bed was so good and comfy. We had everything we needed and we really noticed that every time we thought of something that we might need we actually found it in the cabin. Incredible to also see a professional cooking pan ;) Getting our firewood replenished every day and having plenty of other necessities covered made this an amazing stay. They also have 2 hot tubs and a sauna and the scenery is just beautiful. Quiet and perfect for a relaxed time.

We love love loved the wood burning fireplace!!! The deck overlooking the lake was sublime. The kitchen spacious. Didn’t like the tv being in the bedroom. Would prefer to have it over the fireplace. The couch was pretty basic and not comfy. There was no coffee table so we moved the daybed over to put our feet up. Lots of birds chirping. Lovely.

In our cabin we had a fireplace and an endless wood supply! It made for a warm and cosy new year eve. You can also have access to a selection of board games and puzzles. We finished a 1000 piece puzzle. Bring your slippers! We forgot ours but would bring next time :) The doggo seemed to enjoy it too!

The stay was great but was surprised by the extra $40 charge per night for the two people that stayed with us in our 2nd room of a "two bedroom cabin " we already paid more money to be in that accommodate for a total of 4 people, I could understand if we had extra people in a 1 bedroom using the pull out or cots but this cabin is set up for two couples and the price reflected that already.

The cabin we rented stated it could handle 7 people. We were a party of three adults. I would not say it should advertise for more than 4 in the building we were in. If seven were allowed you would of had the hide a bed out and blocking your only exit. Poor. The kitchen cabinets need to be cleaned under the cabinets, the oven was dirty and they clearly had not vacuumed in awhile as there were cobwebs everywhere. We took the broom ourselves and cleaned. Dated furniture. A little care could go along way. The surrounding building and grounds were beautiful, very tranquil. I suggest they do and overhaul of cleaning throughout the building. Oh yeah patio furniture needs replacing.

This is a log cabin. Probably a kit build from the sixties. Daylight showing between some logs. Exterior doors out of alinement and not working well. Interior doors need paint badly. Not sure about safety of water that appears to be from a dug well next to lake. There was a water filter at the kitchen sink that smelled like it needs filter change. Had smell & hair of dogs in the unit.

It is a fabulous resort. We cannot ask for more. Each cabins faces the lake. They have canoes, paddle boards, etc. They accept dogs which is great. The cabin was clean, spacious, quiet. The receptionist was excellent and fast.

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway. Overlooked the lake with a morning coffee. Great hikes around and a hot tub to soak in after the hikes. Beds were so comfy. We will be back this summer.
