    Convenience: the hotel is right next to the Fuji Panorama Ropeway (regretfully closed for maintenance during my visit), and there's a bus top right at the main road. Staff: they are excellent. Attentive, proactive. - On arrival, they come to your car, offering to help you with handling your bags n luggages (while other hotels will just wait for you at the front desk). Heavy / many bags? Sorry for you. - Looking lost, or showing sigh of doubt, they will come to you offering help / answer. Other small things that counts : (1) afternoon tea and supper are served at the lobby. Though there are eateries near the hotel, having small eats readily available is a nice touch. (2) If you want lake view - ask for 6th or 7th floor. I stayed 4th floor, my window is just about same height as the trees - barely see the lake. (3) Room is big - very big indeed, relative to most of the hotels in Japan

    Room is spacious. There's an in house onsen and entertainment rooms. Check in took too long as they were trying to translate the sheet of information using a translation device and at times, it doesn't translate properly. Told the staff i would read the info on my own instead.

    It’s a little run down and you’ll need to be in shape as you would need to walk up a pretty steep hill to get to the hotel. There’s no view of Mt Fuji from the hotel but the location is pretty good in reference to the ropeway, boat cruise and Kawaguchiko station
