Cool, fun hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Convenient area within walking distance to the beach and many of the bio bay tour or other activity meeting spots. Nice rooftop lounge area with a hot tub and bar that starts partying at 4 pm on the dot (which could be a downside if you’re trying to get an afternoon nap). Good restaurant for dinner downstairs but not much for breakfast, and when we were there not much was open early in the day—Vieques takes island time seriously it seems.

We loved our stay in El Blok. The beaches are across from the hotel and the hotel provides beach chairs for the entire day. Free water in the main lobby. The rooftop has the most beautiful view in the day & night and it’s 24/7 access. The room has wonderful air conditioning as well which is a big plus. Everything you can ask for this hotel has it.
