Casa de Tortuga Guesthouse

Skip was incredible, he was such a gracious host and went out of his way to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. He provided excellent recommendations of things to do on the island, and beaches to visit. The island is beautiful, and staying at Casa De Tortuga made it even better. CDT is a quiet hideout that is only minutes from everything. We loved being able to walk everywhere. The property is excellently maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean. We liked that Skip was a real person, with his own island personality that also lives on the property. We felt his hospitality and appreciate him sharing his home and his island with us. We are already making plans to stay at CDT again!

I really don't have anything here. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The island can be tricky to get to, the ferries and the flights are unpredictable, but that's what keeps the island special and maintains it's culture.

We loved the spacious apartment, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The AC in each bedroom made sleeping very comfortable. The location was excellent, with restaurants, the Malecón, and our bioluminescent bay tour all within walking distance. We also appreciated the pool, beach towels, chairs, and the outdoor shower area for rinsing off after the beach.

Honestly, there wasn't anything we disliked about our stay. We were only there for one night, but the apartment was perfect for our family and exactly what we needed.
