    The hotel is very comfortable, clean and the location is quite good. Walking distance to Dolmabahçe palace, some lovely restaurants around the hotel, and bus stops around, though we preferred taxis which are quite inexpensive (take only yellow taxis, though). My only issue was that we were placed on floor -1 with windows looking on other window one meter away, so had to keep curtains closed practically day and night, this is frustrating. Also, the day we arrived at the hotel right after a nigh flight, they had alarm system checks three times, which required us to quickly get dressed and out of the hotel building, guess they were just checking earthquake preparedness. So after a sleepless night we had to stay up all afternoon. We were told that our hotel operator must have warned us about the alarm testing, but we were not informed, and I guess it would not be too hard for the hotel staff to warn us as we were checking in. Hence, four stars.

    On a narrow lane, one way, small rooms, drainage bad smell in bathroom and toilet, less spread for breakfast, less options for vegetarians. Don't think I will suggest this marriott brand to anyone. Only plus point is the location where you have lots of coffee shops and grocery stores. I didn't like anything at this hotel including the split aircons. Sorry Macka, I am disappointed.
