Tenerife Climbing House

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beds were super comfy and sturdily hand-built with cute lil climbing holds for helping to climb into the top bunks (as well as proper ladders). Fantastic location in a lowly travelled area so if you have a car, it's great. There is some incredible climbing a short drive away which the staff can point you towards. The kitchen is up on the top level with easy access to the open roof top for eating with a great view of the coastline. Cool backyard hangout area with a little bouldering wall. There's an outdoor/climbing shop conveniently located downstairs to boot. Great place to meet other outdoor enthusiasts as well!

There were some issues with hot water a couple times, but the gas just needed to be changed out, which the staff was happy to do. Some doors are pretty loud/difficult to open in some cases. That's getting real nit-picky, though.

Friendly people, clean, and large lockers for gear.

Only two showers, and some people brought their climbing gear (smelly!) into the room.

O hostel e excelente, principalmente se voce procura um local com foco em escalada ou ate bike. Os quartos sao muito confortaveis, as pessoas sao muito receptivas, tudo muito limpo e uma estrutura com local para yoga, alongamento, uma pequena parede de escalada para aquecimento, um terraco. Enfim, ha muitos locais que voce pode relaxar durante o periodo no hostel, antes ou depois da escala, so ou com os amigos. A Helena, foi extremamente gentil e solicita. Os crags de Tenerife ficam proximo, mas e necessario carro para acesso, porem mesmo que voce esteja sem carro, os hospedes se organizam entre si e oferecem carona. Estadia incrivel!! The hostel is perfect for solo travelers or people looking to climb (and of course for everyone else). I was only there for 3 nights and was able to connect with great people, went on a climbing day trip, and enjoyed the facilities.
