It’s a hostel, so things are not as luxurious as at a regular hotel. Indeed, I never saw any of the hostel staff. And we had a lot of confusion regarding check-in. However, once we checked in, the room was just fine for the price, and the location was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing.
Note: there is NO parking anywhere nearby. Even driving to the hostel to drop off bags is difficult, since the streets are mostly 2-2.5m wide, and twisty. But if you arrive by mass transit, it’s fine.

The check in process was a horror. I contacted them the day before to find out where to check in even though it was the middle of the day and was told to go directly to the property and someone would be there. The doors were locked and getting someone on the phone was a pain. Someone finally came and checked me in. I sat on the front steps for an hour and was not happy.
