We had a lovely stay at Legacy Hoi An! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were comfortable. The location was also great, making it easy to explore Hoi An. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing stay!

We are currently staying at this hotel in a family room, which is super spacious. The air con is fantastic and the room is nice and quiet. Everything is clean and the bathroom feels luxurious. Bed is really comfy, with nice quality bedding. The staff are fantastic, everyone is super friendly and keen to help you. The infinity pool has been an oasis of calm and relaxation. I've enjoyed breakfast, there's a wide range of choice for visitors from all over the world. I love the gardens, which are beautifully maintained. The hotel is not in central Hoi An so we've used the free minibus to get into town and the bikes to go and explore the surrounding area. It's also cheap and easy to order a Grab to head into town. The laundry service was quite pricey so we used the laundry service in the house just by the hotel for a fraction of the cost.

On arrival we were met with what seemed like a sales pitch of what the hotel had to offer, we were tired and just wanted our room to refresh ourselves after a long journey, we were passed to 3 different people during check in which seemed a little unprofessional, upon entering the room we instantly realised how small it was compared to others we stayed in during our Vietnam visit, didn't like the open plan bathroom setup with a bathtub just sat there, toilet is separate to the wash basin which means you walk across the room to wash your hands, odd ball setup, shower cubicle is also separate. No vanity mirror was above the table which made applying make up difficult, trying to use the mirror above the wash basins wasn'teasy as there was limited space to place the makeup bag etc. Every night we felt the beds sheets to be gritty and we felt itchy and we didn't understand why until the final night of our stay, we got out our phones and looked at the bed sheets in detail, we were met with tiny dead bugs, we brushed off the sheets and it felt a lot better, on the following morning we noticed lots of bugs crawling all over the sheets, this is not a complaint about the bugs due to where we were staying but more of what seemed like a lack of care in making sure the sheets were clean by housekeeping. Breakfast wasn't the best compared to what we had experienced, toasting bread was a chore and the variety of food was average. The staff were always pleasant and polite, always smiling and helpful. The grounds were nice and kept well. Everything apart from the view about the room was disappointing, the size stated on Agoda wasn't what we experienced compared to elsewhere, i double checked the room size to what we had at other hotels and what we got here and it didn't weigh up the same. In a nutshell we didn't settle here, it didn't compare close to other hotels in other parts of Vietnam.
