Friendly hotel staffs. Free upgrading the room to facing big pool side. Nice night view! Excellant afternoon complementary tea. Nice pool for swimming. Near to night market. Will visit this hotel again.

Totally exceeded our expectations. Staff are super helpful and more than willing to help with my gluten intolerance for food options. Pool is great, room is quiet and includes everything we needed. Will definitely stay again.

The one thing we truly appreciated about our stay was the warm Asian hospitality. Unfortunately, we would not return, mainly because of the hotel itself. The rooms are quite dated and can be noisy. We could hear footsteps from the room above, as well as loud music from guests several doors down the hallway. On one occasion, the music continued until midnight, and no staff appeared to step in to stop it. This was disappointing, especially since there are signs on every lobby level reminding guests to keep noise down after i think 10pm. There are two swimming pools. One faces the main river but is relatively small and was under maintenance during our stay. The other faces the town and a narrower stretch of the river. The buffet breakfast and afternoon tea were particularly disappointing, both in terms of variety and quality. We found the meals available outside the hotel to be much better. We also received different quoted fares for the airport transfer from two different staff members — one when we checked in and another when we checked out. More concerning was the lack of security within the hotel. When we requested a replacement room key after returning from a long day out, there was no proper verification or request for identification before a new key was issued. Twice. They just asked us for our room numbers. (Note that there was a change of staff on duty.) This made us uncomfortable, as we would expect better security procedures in a hotel. Another minor inconvenience is that the short walk from the hotel lobby to the main road is not fully sheltered. During heavy rain, this can be quite inconvenient, and the floors also become rather slippery. Overall, while we appreciated the warm Asian hospitality, the dated rooms, noise issues, disappointing food, security concerns, inconsistent transport pricing and some practical inconveniences mean that we would not choose to stay here again.
