Pen was phenomenal. English-speaking and very helpful getting taxis and answering questions. Pen made our stay wonderful. This is a beautiful resort in the middle of nowhere, which was just the getaway we were looking for. We did get a taxi to White Sand Beach one day and I was glad we didn’t stay there because it was too touristy. At night at Parama, all you can hear are birds and frogs. Paradise.

Great staff. Great facilities. Fish in salt water tank are amazing. Great location to motorbike to Long Beach and Monument Beach.
This is in a less developed area. We saw reptiles of significant size on property,which was neat. They have some captive exotic fish and sea turtles that I would prefer were freed, but in nice zoo-like habitat.
Give free boat ride to island across the bay. Boat ride is nice, Island Beach is not very pleasant, though. There may be better island Beach a little further if you pay.

Good even for the price. The cheapest rooms are more than 250 meters away, but they are good and the hotel shuttle mini bus drives you for free. There are nice fishes and turtles swimming in the hotel ponds. You could use kayaks and a private island for free too.
