We just stayed there and if life takes us down to Punta Cana again, we would likely return to the Westin. The resort was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The Junior Suite we stayed in was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Minor things we were disappointed in, but wouldn't stop us from staying again was the bathtub didn't work, but never got addressed while we were there that I am aware of, no refrigerator, and the mattress was pretty firm. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I wish we had staff like this in the US. The pool was very relaxing and peaceful. It wasn't crowded or loud at all. The Kite Bar at the pool was very nice and made great cocktails. Due to our stay, we missed out on a couple of restaurants, Bao and Brassa. We were told they are amazing, but due to hours of operation, we're closed during our stay. The breakfast buffet and dinner at Arena were amazing though. Highly recommend Mare down the road though too. The beach was great, but the water had way too much seaweed which deterred swimming.
