Plaza Fuyo Hotel

Very spacious room, good location as its a few mins walk from station, the city is very walkable so can still walk everywhere, lawson is down the road, many restaurants/izakayas right outside. Cons: the bed you see in photos is quite thin so i recommend to ask for more bedding (or just get a room with an actual bed), the room does feel traditional though which adds to the experience so its both a negative and positive - if you only stayed for a couple days it will be fine but longer you should ask for bedding. At night there is a decent amount of noise due to the izakayas and bars nearby, also walls seem thin as people seem to always be making noise at night. During the morning - there is a building being constructed right next door so they start at 8am (if you’re a light sleeper and sleep in, may be an issue. Other than the noise and bed, not much to complain about!

I love my stay at Plaza Fuyo Hotel. I sought out hotel rooms as a solo travel but most hotels in Fukuoka are expensive for my budget. However, Plaza Fuyo Hotel is an exception. It doesn't offer many services like a 5-star hotel but it tops other hotels with its value for money, cleanliness, and kind staff. Sleeping in the Standard Japanese room was no trouble. The futon was comfortable although some people may find it thin. This may depend on the person's body. There's not much noise during my stay although keep in mind I stayed on a Sunday. Room has many amenities like TV, kitchen, refrigerator, and soaps. The staff were also kind. When I was checking-out, they assisted me in transferring my luggage to the airport and also weighing my luggage before I go to the airport. I would like to stay here again.

I stayed only one night, but the room has enough equipment for longer stay.

This was my second time staying at Plaza Fuyo Hotel. During my first visit, I stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room, which I preferred over the room I was initially assigned this time. However, after transferring to another room on my third day for a slightly higher rate, I found it much more comfortable, cozy, and enjoyable. The hotel's location is another highlight, as it is within walking distance of many of Hakata's popular attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. Overall, I had another pleasant stay and would gladly consider staying here again.
