Vivere Hotel

Good value, wonderful staff — but quite a few things need improvement Would I recommend Vivere Hotel? Yes, I would. Despite several issues, the location, friendly staff and overall price-to-quality ratio are still very good. First, the staff are definitely the biggest asset of this hotel. Very friendly, accommodating and genuinely welcoming. Maayo kaayo ang staff — buotan, approachable, ug natural kaayo ilang Filipino smiles. Makapahumok gyud sa kasingkasing. ❤️ This warm Filipino hospitality makes a big difference to the stay. However, there are quite a few practical things that management should look at. The iPad check-in system is really not user-friendly. I was born in 1963, and to select my birth year I literally had to press backwards 63 times, one year at a time. 😅 Surely in 2026 there must be an easier way to enter a date of birth. Maintenance also needs some attention. The breakfast juice dispenser was broken — honestly, a replacement dispenser can be bought very cheaply on Shopee. The shower heads also look old and should be replaced. Mga gagmay ra unta ni nga problema ug sayon ra kaayo ayuhon. The breakfast area was extremely warm and the air-conditioning felt almost non-functional. The temperature throughout the hotel is also very inconsistent. The large central area between the rooms and the corridors are very warm and feel almost non-air-conditioned, and then you enter the elevator, lobby or your room and suddenly it is cold. Init kaayo sa hallway, unya kalit na pud ug tugnaw pag-abot sa lift or room. The swimming pool being closed from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM for cleaning was also disappointing. Those are five prime daytime hours when hotel guests would normally want to use the pool. It would make much more sense to schedule major cleaning earlier in the morning or later in the day. The breakfast dress code also seems rather excessive. I understand not allowing bathrobes or sleepwear, but even singlets and the hotel’s own slippers are prohibited. For a relaxed hotel breakfast, that feels unnecessarily strict. Another important issue is the lack of a proper driveway/drop-off area. Guests basically have to get in and out along a busy street. With luggage, this is inconvenient and can feel unsafe. Dapat naa gyud unta proper ug safe nga lugar para sa guests nga munaog ug mosakay. Communication also needs improvement. My Messenger message was answered two days later, when the response was already too late to be useful. I also called their advertised urgent mobile number five times and nobody answered. If a number is meant for urgent guest concerns, somebody should answer or at least return the call. Having said all that, I would still recommend Vivere Hotel and I would consider staying again. Sa overall, sulit gihapon. The location is good, the price-quality ratio works, and most importantly, the staff make you feel genuinely welcome. Most of my complaints are actually things that management could fix relatively easily. The people are already excellent — now the facilities, maintenance and systems just need to catch up with them.

Best hotel I’ve been to. Really a 5 star. Room is super clean and relaxing and delicious breakfast buffet. Will definitely come back!

Excellent customer service and location

We recently spent 4 nights and 5 days at Vivere Hotel, and overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Location is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It is just across a huge mall in the southern part of Manila, making practically everything we needed easily accessible to shopping, restaurants, coffee, and other conveniences were just a short walk away. Upon entering the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the grand and elegant lobby and reception area. Check-in was fast and efficient, and throughout our stay, the staff were consistently courteous, accommodating, and always ready with a smile. The Filipino breakfast selection was fairly simple, but everything we tried was good and satisfying. Our first room was comfortable and generally okay. Unfortunately, on our second night, I barely slept because of a persistent vibration and loud noise apparently coming from the air-conditioning condenser unit. I am quite particular when it comes to hotel rooms especially cleanliness, comfort and, most importantly, a peaceful night’s sleep so I brought the matter to the attention of the front desk. What impressed me was how the hotel handled my concern. The following day, we were transferred to a beautiful, spacious and wonderfully quiet one-bedroom unit, which completely changed the rest of our stay. I particularly appreciated the personal assistance of Ms. Hazuki, the Guest Services Manager, who took care of our concern with warmth and professionalism. Having stayed in many carefully chosen hotels over the years, I have learned that a good hotel experience isn’t necessarily one where nothing ever goes wrong. What matters just as much is how sincerely and efficiently the hotel responds when something does. Vivere handled our concern very well, and that personal attention made a lasting impression on me. We enjoyed the remainder of our stay comfortably and peacefully. Vivere may have had a little hiccup along the way, but the warm Filipino hospitality, convenient location and, above all, the way the staff made an effort to make things right are what I will remember. Thank you especially to Ms. Hazuki and the Vivere team for taking good care of us. We left with a positive impression and yes, I would happily consider staying here again.
