Our recent family stay at Quest Hotel Alabang was disappointing, particularly considering the rates we paid and the level of service, comfort, and overall experience we expected. 1. Overcrowded Common Areas and Loss of Exclusivity The hotel felt extremely crowded, with guests attending trick-or-treat events at the Grand Ballroom, checking in and out, dining at the buffet, and accessing amenities such as the gym and swimming pool all sharing common lobby areas. The sheer volume of foot traffic made the hotel feel more like a busy transport terminal than a place intended for relaxation. I understand that it was a weekend, but a hotel of this caliber should have proper crowd management to maintain a comfortable, exclusive, and relaxing atmosphere for its guests. 2. Unaccommodating Reception and Disorganized Check-In The reception experience was another disappointment. We were travelling as a family with a baby and had reserved three rooms. We specifically requested to be accommodated on the same floor, but our request was not granted. More concerning was the fact that the room assigned to me, where I would be staying with my baby, could not initially be located or confirmed at check-in. The reception staff had to coordinate with the reservations department to verify the booking again, resulting in unnecessary inconvenience. While I understand that room assignments are subject to availability, I expected a smoother check-in process, better coordination between departments, and a more welcoming and accommodating approach from the reception staff. 3. Noisy Room Location My parents were assigned Room 2129 on the 21st floor, directly beside the service area. Their room was affected by considerable noise from service activities, construction, and other ongoing operations. The noise was clearly audible inside their room, making it difficult to enjoy a peaceful stay. For a hotel where guests pay for comfort and relaxation, room assignments should take noise levels into consideration whenever possible. Guests should not have to endure excessive operational noise inside their rooms. 4. Disappointing Breakfast Buffet The breakfast buffet also fell short of expectations. The selection of main dishes was limited, while the congee and soup options were excessively salty. The fruit station offered very limited choices, with fruits cut into unusually thin and small portions. The cheese selection was also lacking. Overall, the buffet experience was underwhelming, and I would rate it 2.5 out of 5. Additionally, the baby high chair initially offered to us lacked a seat belt or adequate child-safety restraints. For families travelling with infants, providing safe and properly equipped high chairs should be a basic priority, not an afterthought. 5. Bathroom Cleanliness and Room Maintenance Issues The condition and maintenance of our room were also disappointing. The bathroom did not appear to have been properly cleaned, as the water closet had visible mold and black marks. This raised concerns about the hotel's housekeeping standards and attention to detail. Furthermore, the lighting inside our walk-in closet was flickering, requiring me to call maintenance to have it repaired. Guests should not have to report basic room defects during their stay, particularly when paying rates that come with expectations of quality and upkeep. These issues may seem minor individually, but collectively they affect the overall impression of cleanliness, comfort, and proper room maintenance. 6. Baby Crib Safety and Condition As parents travelling with an infant, our baby's comfort and safety were among our primary concerns. Unfortunately, the baby crib provided in our room appeared heavily used, and the condition of its wooden structure did not inspire confidence in its safety. I recently had a much better experience at Acacia Hotel, where the baby crib provided was made of plastic with mesh sides. It felt more reassuring and suitable for an infant

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The relaxing atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely love to come back again!

It will be more recommendable if the comfort room at the pool area will be clean and if it smells good.

We booked for king size bed yet once we arrived receptionist told me that no king size bed available. and njust told me because we booked via agoda. So that this mean we did not deserve and entitled as per request? But we pay and the chair at the room has foul smella nd the bed sheet is not clean.
