    We booked a tatami room for three pax. Surprisingly it did not come with a shower unit - but we though it'll be fine since they have a public bath. However, they close the public bath after midnight till 4pm. So there was no possibility for us to shower in the morning. We spoke to the staff and he said unfortunately , you won't be able to use the bath...

    This place is good, but its a bit far from big station and the room is not as big as you think. There is two factor that makes this place not so recommended from me Water is not provided and staff can only speak a little bit english, its fine if you can speak some japanese but if you can only speak english it might get hard to communicate

    The hotel is in the quiet but still very lively area of Uehonmachi. Just across, there’s a Don Quijote, and the hotel is a two-minute walk from a 7-Eleven. There are schools in the area, so there are a lot of students and families. Just around 5 minutes away is the Osaka-Uehonmachi station (Kintetsu Line). This area is a great place to stay if you’re going to Nara, Uji, and Kyoto from Osaka. The Osaka-Uehonmachi Station is like the center of the town, and there are a lot of restaurants and shops both near the station and in the surrounding area. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They give all guests one free bottle of mineral water a day, and housekeeping replenishes your two teabags of green tea whenever you have your room made up. The hotel has a feel of it being old, but it’s still very clean, and the room size was decent. My only complaint is that you can’t adjust the AC in your room (it was pretty hot for me, and this was in the fall/early winter). Otherwise, I would love to stay here again.
