A birthday getaway that left me feeling so loved and pampered! 💙✨ Thank you, Grand Hyatt KL, for making my stay extra special. The sweetest surprise was having the lovely staff surprise me with a birthday cake during breakfast! 🎂🥹 Specially thanks to Mimi and the other two staffs. Such a thoughtful gesture that made my 44th birthday getaway even more memorable. Truly satisfied with the wonderful hospitality and little touches that made all the difference. Thank you for the beautiful memories! 🤍✨

I'm trying to say this in the nicest way possible: the management needs HUGE improvement. If you think your check-in time is at 3pm, so it means you can enter your room at 3pm, you are wrong! Who would have thought that there is a long queue for check-in! The worst part is the number of sofa is limited! 3-6 seats? I don't remember but they are fully occupied. As someone who traveled with a senior citizen, it is upsetting me. Truly. I know my mom still can walk, but making her stand for a long time is outrageous. She didn't even dare to ask the guests for their seats. But there was no more available seats, you will have to stand somewhere. And the queue? Took us 40-50 minutes. Disappointing. My mom then got tired from the waiting and lose her excitement. To add up, we already communicated with the hotel representatives that we wish to get a higher level room, but it was only "subject to availability". Well, subject to availability means subjected to the day you check in, instead of the day you book so it doesn't matter if you booked early, sigh. We got level 18, quite low, and I don't like the view. You may have to request level 35 and above for a good view of KLCC. The next day of breakfast, yes, still have to queue. I get it, queuing is expected here for peak hours and also it was weekend so peak season but do you know where is the queue? In front of the lifts!!! This doesn't reflect well to the hotel's management. How can you let these guests queuing in front of the lifts? Now, people who wants to use the lifts are inconvenienced if they are going in or out of the lift. I couldn't queue in comfort too because I too, felt inconvenienced by it. Queued around 30 minutes for breakfast. The foods are so-so but luckily we got KLCC view. It was the only selling point of this hotel. Oh, and the staffs are lovely. One of the lady employee spotted my mom and offered to get her a drink. So kind of her, thank you so much. The staffs are all polite and warm. When I called for assistance, or when they bumped into me, they greeted me so softly. I have no complaints except for their management. Because of their system of queuing isn't a system that welcomed elderly and they don't provide a place where you can queue in comfort, I dislike this hotel. Will not recommend to anyone especially to senior citizens. Save your knees from queuing!! *additionally, it is like a slap in your face when you can see the staff blocked other guests from taking lifts because they are attending a VIP. Oh, VIP tak payah beratur pulak. Yelah, kita orang tak cukup VIP, normal guests sahaja. Tak special kan 🫩.
