A perfect Tuscan escape at Podere La Rocca! Our stay at Podere La Rocca was absolutely magical. Nestled in the rolling hills of Montepulciano, the property is the epitome of Tuscan charm—surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and stunning panoramic views that seem straight out of a postcard. The rooms were spacious, beautifully rustic yet well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. We loved waking up to the sounds of the countryside and enjoying our coffee while watching the sunrise over the vineyards. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering wonderful recommendations for local wineries, restaurants, and sights. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a daily highlight—fresh, local products served with care. We also appreciated the lovely pool area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Montepulciano and nearby hill towns. If you’re looking for an authentic, peaceful, and truly memorable Tuscan experience, Podere La Rocca is the perfect choice. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended. A special highlight of our evening was the service. Antonio, our waiter, was simply fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and making sure every detail was just right. His genuine warmth and professionalism elevated the entire experience and made us feel so well cared for.

Had a very enjoyable stay at La Rocca. Staff was excellent. Breakfast at the restaurant every morning was very nice. Took a cooking class and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also did a wine tasting and enjoyed it as well.

What a beautiful countryside retreat!!! Just 15 minutes from Montepulciano, this property is located in a quiet rural area but with such wonderful amenities. It has wonderful sitting areas around the property to relax and read a book, also they have a terrific pool that is lovely and clean. Check in was EVRY easy, the rooms are very spacious with luxurious bathrooms and they even have a spa bath. The breakfast was such a treat and was the perfect way to start the day of tours. We dined at the restaurant one night and I wished we had made another reservation for another night, it was so delicious. The staff were so informative and I would stay hear again in a heart beat!

I was looking for a vineyard experience in Tuscany, and this was utterly delightful. It’s quaint and rustic. An easy drive to Montepulciano. And the drive between montalcino and Montepulciano is STUNNING. The staff was so helpful. My first night there, the restaurant was closed, but they made a reservation for me in town that turned out to be one of my best dinners in Italy. My second night, I did the family style meal. If you have the chance, don’t pass it up. The food was wonderful, as was the wine and atmosphere. A great experience!

If you’re traveling with kids and you want a place to stay and enjoy, then this place is an amazing choice for you. They have a great pool and many other activities. But if you’re planning to get up in the morning and hope on the car and go to near villages, maybe it would be better to find somewhere closer to the villages. With all said, we had a great time there however we didn’t have a chance to use the pool nor other amenities. The staff are very nice and welcoming. One night we didn’t get to eat outside and by the time we got there, everywhere was closed but they provided us dinner.

This is a truly gorgeous property. You will need a car as nothing is walkable, but the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was good and the accommodation was comfortable. The sunsets were stunning. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little place that isn’t too far from Florence and Montepulciano. Nice room with a giant claw foot tub under a window overlooking the vineyard. Have a dinner in their restaurant, it’s nice and the breakfast is good too.

I enjoyed the overall feel of the villa. My room with aprivate balcony facing the vineyard felt I was in a movie. The pool was a treat plus the on site restaurant and the wine they have to offer from their own vineyard where they have been making wine for 20 years as our server told us.

We had a wonderful 6-night stay at Podere Rocca. It is a perfect Tuscan countryside setting, great staff, comfortable beds and large room, beautiful pool, excellent food! Highly recommend the cooking class with Chef Federico! It is also close to the lovely town of Montepulciano, which has lots of restaurants, shopping and beautiful views. All in all a lovely stay.

Our stay at Podere La Rocca was fabulous! The property is located in the rolling Tuscan hills just outside Montepulciano. The property is a working farm and vineyard with an onsite restaurant and pool. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was huge with a new jetted tub. We stayed on the second floor in a building with a large communal room with a fireplace. On the first floor of the same building was a rec room with a pool table. What made the stay was our experience at the restaurant. The quality of the meals and the service was above and beyond anything other dining experience in Italy, including our Michelin star dining. The food and wine pairing was excellent! If the hotel is full, be sure to eat at the restaurant and order whatever Simone recommends. It will be the best meal you have while visiting Tuscany and possibly your entire trip!

My wife and I stated at Podere La Rocca for a week in September 2022. We stayed in the Superior Apartment and had breakfast and dinner at Podere La Rocca several times during our stay. Podere La Rocca's accommodations and dining were excellent, and their website accurately describes what they offer. Staff was consistently very helpful, friendly & warm. We used Podere La Rocca as a central location to tour Southern Tuscany and Northern Umbria. The weather was too cool to use the pool.
