    We stayed at Berjaya Hotel Colombo for two nights and had a pleasant experience. The staff were polite, friendly, and always willing to help, making our stay comfortable from check-in to check-out. One of the highlights of the property is its excellent location. It's situated right next to the beach, and we enjoyed beautiful sunset views from our room every evening. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable stay in Colombo with beach access, scenic views, and courteous staff, Berjaya Hotel Colombo is a good choice.

    The hotel is very run down. The rooms are smelly and ramshackle. The bathroom was moldy and the towels had seen better times. Check in was problematic as they kept saying they hadn’t received the booking from Agoda. Finally gave us the room when we showed them the confirmation and such.

    Do not come to this hotel with high expectations. The property is very old, poorly maintained, and not worth the price they charge. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and the overall condition of the hotel felt outdated and neglected. The worst part was the service. The TV in our room was not working, and we called the staff four times over two days. Every time, they said someone would come to fix it. We even went to the reception desk in person, where they promised to send someone within 15 minutes. No one ever showed up. The complete lack of follow-up and concern for guests was extremely disappointing. We reported the same issue repeatedly during our stay, but it was ignored from start to finish. For the amount they charge, the hotel offers very poor value. Old facilities, lack of cleanliness, and unresponsive staff made this a frustrating experience. If you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, and reliable service, look elsewhere. I would not recommend staying here and would definitely choose another hotel next time.
