    Everything nearly perfect… better weight training facilities and better selections at the breakfast buffet would put this place over the top. Staffing, location, cleanliness and overall ambience is five-star. Definitely a place to stay.

    Upon arrival, we were informed that the name on my Agoda booking did not match the name on my passport. This was unexpected, as the reservation had already been fully paid through Agoda, and I have been using the platform for many years without encountering such an issue. During the check-in process, I requested that your front desk staff contact Agoda directly to verify the booking details so that the room could be released. I also offered to contact Agoda myself immediately to help facilitate verification if needed. However, I was informed that Agoda would not release payment to the hotel if the booking name and passport name did not match exactly. Despite my requests, the staff did not contact Agoda to verify the situation. What made the experience more frustrating was that one staff member spent time showing Agoda policy information and repeatedly referring to what Agoda required. While I understand policies must be followed, this did not help resolve the situation. As a guest who had already fully paid for the booking, I was seeking assistance in resolving the issue rather than being shown policy explanations. I also wish to provide feedback regarding the involvement of the duty manager, Ms Sarinya S. She was present in the reception area and stood nearby during the interaction but only stepped in at a later stage. From my perspective, assistance could have been offered earlier, as she was already within close proximity and aware of the situation. Earlier intervention and support could have helped resolve the matter more efficiently and reduced the delay experienced by my family. Overall, I felt the response from staff lacked urgency, empathy, and proactive problem-solving. At no point did I feel that the team took ownership of assisting a fully paid guest to resolve the issue with Agoda directly. This situation caused significant inconvenience to my family, especially my three children, who urgently needed access to facilities after our journey. The delay added unnecessary stress and discomfort. As far as I was concerned, the reservation had been fully paid and confirmed. I believe it would have been reasonable for the hotel to take the initiative to contact Agoda directly to verify the booking rather than placing the responsibility entirely on the guest. I would appreciate it if management could review this incident and clarify the hotel’s policy regarding booking name discrepancies. I also hope this feedback will be used to improve staff responsiveness and guest support in similar situations in the future.
