    I loved my stay at Kimpton. Great location - having Kat’s Deli in the corner is a plus! The staff were very professional and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit! 👌🏼👏🏻

    My adult son and I celebrated my son's birthday in L.A. We were there for 4 nights. I'll start with the inoperable phone in our room. There were multiple issues we experienced throughout our stay. For every issue, we had to leave our room to speak to someone at the front desk. Day 1: entering our room for the 1st time, there was a very, very bad malodor in the room. It was the kind of stench you'll carry in your hair, clothes, and skin. We actually smelled it upon approaching our room. I immediately shared this with the front desk and asked if they would give us a different room. I was told they didn't have anything else available for us. Day 2: I informed the front desk that there was no hot water. I was told they would send maintenance, but no one showed up. I went back to the front desk on DAY 3 to let them know we were still waiting on maintenance. Someone finally showed a few minutes later, but problem wasn't resolved. Maintenence wasn't able to fix it. He reported that to the front desk, so for our troubles, we were given a free breakfast voucher. It was my son's 1st time in L.A. He had a list of things he wanted to do. But on our last day his list wasn't completed, so he wanted to stay 1 more day. The front desk changed our room for the extra day. Upgraded us to a suite for *** with added taxes. After a few hours in the new room, I realized I left my towel and pricy shower cap I brought from home in the other room, but the cleanering staff had already thrown it away. The staff was pleasant. But the multiple issues made our stay unpleasant. I will not recommend this hotel. Ever.
