    Hotel was value for money since room has washer included. 10 mins walk from Ikebukuro station. Hotel has good vibes since was recently renovated.

    The hotel is very welcoming and convenient. Close to the subway and plenty of food and shopping places to go around. The room was super clean as expected, and staff were friendly and helpful! Would recommend solo travelers/couples to try!

    I had high hopes for Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro, but unfortunately, the experience did not justify the high price point. The "tiny" room size combined with several functional issues made for an uncomfortable stay. Room & Comfort: The room was extremely cramped and suffered from very poor lighting, making the space feel dark and confined. The bedding was a major disappointment; the sheets had an "itchy" texture, and the duvet cover was so loose that the comforter lost its structure inside, making it impossible to get comfortable at night. Amenities & Service: While the in-room washing machine is a great concept, the unit in our room was problematic. It was excessively loud, vibrated heavily, and took nearly 3 hours to complete a single load. Furthermore, the cleaning service is very limited (only once a week), which feels inadequate for the price being charged. Location & Pros: The location is okay, though guests should be aware it is situated right in the middle of a "night club" district, which might not suit everyone. On a positive note, the reception is well-stocked with toiletries, and they were always available when needed. Final Thought: Between the noisy appliances, the uncomfortable bedding, and the cramped space, I did not feel this hotel offered good value. I likely won’t return.
