    Booked it as first time visitor and had no clue or Osaka or its location. This was the best overall. Can't be more better. Definitely I will return here whenever and recommend it for everyone who wants everything at hand. Stay and you will believe beyond my words. Bng

    I recently stayed at The Lutheran Osaka with a group of 11 people, including kids and teenagers, traveling in two cars. I am also a frequent traveler to Japan, so I am quite familiar with the standard of hospitality here. Unfortunately, this was the only hotel where I felt that Chinese guests were not particularly welcomed. While the hotel is conveniently located near a train station, it is not very car-friendly. According to the hotel’s website, onsite parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations allowed. However, upon arrival, we were told the parking was full despite seeing empty spaces. This was quite frustrating. Even more disappointing, when we were checking out, we were not allowed to briefly enter the car park to load our luggage. There is also no designated space for loading and unloading, which made things very inconvenient, especially for a large group with children and luggage. If you are traveling by car, particularly with kids or elderly family members, you may want to consider other options. In terms of service, I did not feel particularly welcomed by the front desk staff. While we were using the complimentary drinks area, one of the reception staff came out from behind the counter and stared at us in a way that made us uncomfortable. We were simply having a normal conversation at a regular volume and were not being noisy, so it was unclear what prompted this behavior. Unfortunately, it did not leave a good impression. That said, I would like to highlight a positive aspect of the stay: the breakfast and kitchen staff were excellent. They were polite, warm, and attentive, and we genuinely felt welcomed by them. The food was clearly prepared with care, and their hospitality stood out as the best part of our experience. Overall, due to the parking difficulties and the service experience at the front desk, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for travellers who are driving.
