    It is nice and cozy and great value for money. The beach is just 15 min walk and the stores are 5 min walk. We enjoyed shopping there before heading to the beach.

    The positives are the hotel and the room were really well maintained and clean, especially considering it is an older Victorian style hotel. Service was good, excellent location. Good paintwork, furniture in good condition, carpet plush and new etc. The negatives were there was just one towel (and a bath mat) I expected a hand towel also, that's pretty much standard. Also, the heating only comes on at certain times, doesn't seem to be related to a thermostat. I was not freezing, but I could see this could be an issue. I would say it's a good budget hotel in summer but beware in cold weather.

    Room very clean and sweet smells in room. Check easy only downfall was £10 charge for car parking which I understand is free if you book direct with the hotel.
