We had the pleasure of staying here as our main base during our road trip around Puglia. The description I had read about the guesthouse and its amenities were just as advised. We were pleased to know that the Masseria is fairly secure after hours as the front gates can only be opened with a key at night. The location may be slightly isolated from the surrounding small towns (having said that – the scenic coastline was only a 15 minutes drive and the nearest largest town Otranto was only 20 minutes away) and with WiFi only in the reception area (which we were aware prior to our stay). However, we ended up appreciating escaping from our daily normal life back home. Our TomTom was our saviour for getting us to the place fine and generally around Puglia as well. Overall we were very pleased with how homely and welcoming our stay was - we were looked after and attended to our every needs. Our room and bathroom were of a good size, simple but very clean. There may not be a lot of facilities on site - but that worked for us quite well as we would be on the road travelling every day till late. However, the little time we did spent there for breakfast or relaxing by the pool was very peaceful.

This place served as a great vantage point to nearby sights. It is situated in a quiet olive grove which is particularly stunning at night. The pool and gardens are kept magnificently. The restaurant is great and well worth enjoying. Bruno will take excellent care of you. The staff can seem a little abrupt at times but I think this is the trend in the south. The rooms are basic and outdated but they are functional.But you will only be sleeping in it so who cares right? Otherwise the rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Wifi was acceptable albeit a little slow. Would return here.
