    C'est un petit paradis pour les jeunes enfants avec les glissades d'eau et la mer. Nous avons eu un service exceptionnel avec tout le personnel. Un 2-3 étoiles standard américain. Avec le prix, je recommande.

    This was HELL. I’m only writing to warn people to stay away from Kombo beach resort. They have perfected the art of bait and switch and disrespect. When we got there we were told there was no room in the main hotel for us so they were going to put us in an annex building across the street. The first deluxe room we were shown was anything but. The second option was not even habitable. We ended up making alternate arrangements at a different hotel. I have reversed all charges through Amex. We were part of a large wedding party and several of the group also had issues with the hotel. The entire hotel staff needs schooling in customer service. Racism is very alive and well at this hotel. Our group was largely African with a few caucasians. Guess what, the hotel was able to accommodate the caucasians on our party and actually claimed the caucasians were part of a *** group. I was informed by a lady in management that *** is a company the hotel has longstanding relationship with and that is why the Caucasians got that treatment. This trip with regards to lodging and service was a complete disaster. I will NEVER go back to that resort and advise strongly against anyone doing so. Unless of course you’re Caucasian holding on to memories of the good old racist colonial times.

    This is a great hotel - the staff are friendly and the venue is comfortable and well maintained. A great base for spending your time in The Gambia.

    Not worth the price paid (european rates) . Room had a broken window, the mosquitoes came in and also it was noisy from outside. . Shower was blocked so that water was all over the floor. Restaurant didnt have what we asked for (that was listed on the menu) and when we took samosa with a mint sauce it came with a tamarind sauce instead and we were simply told "that's what we serve samosas with" although in the menu was written mint sauce. In the early morning staff was very loud in the corridor it woke us up not so nice when you are on holidays.... Although the location seems nice, because of all the above we would hesitate to come back. At least not at the price we paid.
