Basic hotel room but very good value for the money. Just needed a bed in a hotel for my drive on the Grossglockner. Complimentary Summer Card which provides free entry to the Grossglockner and was a nice surprise. Saved me 43 euros.

The hotel was nice and had a comfortable spacious room with a great view of the alps and a waterfall. The breakfast food had a nice selection of breads and meets and cheeses along with eggs, yogurt, cereal. The reception clerk was rude and seemed to carry a grudge against Americans. When I went into the hotel restaurant after check in to ask if dinner was a buffet or a menu, I was told we could not eat dinner there, which in turn, forced us to a restaurant at another hotel down the road with amazing service and great food. His behavior left such a bad impression to what would have otherwise been a very nice experience.

We had booked this hotel as a one night stopover on a touring holiday before driving along the Hochalpenstrasse. It was a little more touristy than we would normally like but ok and the hotel staff were very friendly. We weren't expecting the food to be great but were very pleasantly surprised.

This is not a full service hotel, but the location is convenient and neighborhood is very nice . The owner is a good host, and the restaurant has good food. Our room was small but adequate.

The sign said it all - Bikers Welcome. this was a one night stay before ascending the Grossglockner. All 7 of us (4 motorbikes) were made very welcome and our host was exceptional, he was very attentive and very funny. A little dissapointed that we didn't have drink making afacilities in the room but that seemed to be the norm on the continent. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Booked for two nights but had to move out after one - the springs sticking out of mattresses made the sleeping barely possible. You may find much better options for about the same price through the site of the nearby Kaprun ski resort.
