This hotel really started to feel like home. It's a beautiful little compound of four separate buildings inside a walled garden, all built around an ancient olive tree ("zeytin"). Everything is perfect, from the clean, comfortable rooms to the two crystal clear swimming pools. Delicious breakfast every morning. Service in the classic Turkish style - always there when you need them, never there when you don't.
Alacati is a neat little town and the Ionian surroundings have much to offer, but you might just want to stay inside the Zeytin and relax.

The hotel is located a 5-min walk from where all restaurants and bars are which is ideal because it is located in a quieter area as most restaurants and bars play live and loud music at night.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms which can be annoying but also an opportunity to disconnect from the world.
Daily Turkish breakfast in the gorgeous restaurant area… but beware of the mosquitoes and stray cats.
