    Had an overnight stay at Travelodge Newhall Street. Check-in was efficient & the room was basic - as expected for a Travelodge. Note there is limited temperature control in the room; there is an electric wall heater but no AC - only that the window can be opened slightly & a desk fan is provided. Additionally, there is no free, unlimited wifi, which was a surprise .. only 30 mins free daily, although the location of our room allowed us to connect to the network of the adjacent bar. Whilst it is Travelodge, you might expect such a basic service to be available in this day & age. The room includes a kettle & complimentary tea/coffee. Note too that there is no left luggage facility, even at cost. However, the adjacent StayCity Aparthotel has a left luggage facility for the general public. The location is decent - slightly away from the city centre - but convenient for those catching FlixBus coaches which start/terminate at Great Charles Street Queensway.

    If not too hot, small fan is working. Walking distance to flix bus station and some tourist points. City center is 20 min on foot. No luggage storage before/after. Wifi 30 mins free.
