In the heart of the character Livorno port area where not many hotels the Boston is a gem. Fantastic location on large park. . Nice room, cold AC, good breakfast, nice staff. Large Coop store 5 minutes away. 10 minutes to beautiful sheltered “local” swimming area near marina.

Our first trip to Livorno was very enjoyable. The area around the hotel was clean and safe. Only complaint was the construction across the street could be noisy at times. It is close to the port and is also very busy. Nice park in front of the hotel to sit and relax. Parking is a real challenge, so a rental car would not be an option. Public transportation is very affordable and accessable. Pisa is a 20 minute train ride and you can take the bus there from Piazza Grande which is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Only complaint about the hotel was that while they advertised internet access, it was out of order every day we were there and did not seem that they intended on having it repaired. Plenty of reasonably priced restaurants within an easy walk of the hotel.
